WHAT A MESS!

We refer, of course, to the long running dispute between Hockey India and the Indian Hockey Federation and the International Hockey Federation’s (FIH) attempts to encourage and promote Indian hockey. We would be particularly interested in your views on whether the FIH should now take away from India the proposed Men’s Champions Trophy in December and next year’s Olympic Qualifiers. Should India be banned from international competition?

Ni Qualifier, no India

If one of the men's Olympic Qualifier's is not held in India there is little likelyhood of India qualifying to play in the London 2012 Games. It would be a massive blow to Indian hockey and a great dent in the FIH dreams of financial gains by gifting tournaments to India. Surely common sense must preveil and the current confromtations resilved.
